Christiana is a choral conductor and lyric soprano. She also teaches private singing lessons to singers of all ages and abilities.
Christiana holds degrees in music education, vocal performance, and choral conducting, and currently resides in London, UK. A choral conductor and singer, Christiana most recently completed a Master of Music in Choral Conducting at the University of Cambridge. Previously, she served on the music faculty at the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, Pennsylvania for nine years. She directed the middle school choir and opera workshop, gave private singing lessons and taught upper level music courses. She earned Bachelor's degrees in Music Education and Vocal Performance from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and a Master's degree in Music Education from Shenandoah University of Virginia. In 2008, She studied opera in Lucca, Italy as part of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music's Opera Theatre and Music Festival of Lucca. Christiana has performed as a soloist with several regional orchestras in Mozart's Requiem and Regina Coeli, Handel's Messiah, Orff's Carmina Burana, Rutter's Requiem, and Faure's Requiem. Christiana was a choral scholar with Selwyn College Choir, Cambridge, directed by Sarah MacDonald. She has also performed with King's Voices under the direction of Ben Parry, the college choirs of Clare, Emmanuel, Gonville and Caius and Sydney Sussex, and the Cambridge University Chamber Choir under the direction of John Butt. Christiana was a choral scholar at Trinity Cathedral in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 2004 - 2017, and the artistic director of the Trinity Cathedral Boy Choir from 2015 - 2016.
